Daniel D. Driffin, DrPH, MPH
Senior Public Health Strategist | HIV Care + Prevention + Health Equity
Daniel Driffin is a public health strategist with more than 15 years of experience advancing HIV care, prevention, and vaccine engagement across community, academic, and national public health systems. He specializes in designing culturally grounded, community-informed strategies that strengthen access, improve research participation, and support equitable uptake of prevention and treatment innovations.

Daniel currently serves as External Relations Project Manager at the Fred Hutch Cancer Research Center, where he develops targeted education and recruitment strategies for the HIV Vaccine Trials Network (HVTN) and COVID-19 Prevention
Network (CoVPN). His prior leadership roles span consulting, national advocacy, and community-based organizations, where he secured major funding, led high-impact HIV initiatives, and built trusted partnerships across disproportionately affected communities.


He holds a Doctor of Public Health from Georgia State University and a Master of Public Health from Morehouse School of Medicine.

Lauren Wood Stapleton, MPH
Behavioral Health Program Leader | SUD/OUD Policy, Systems Change & Rural Health

Lauren Wood Stapleton is a behavioral health and public policy leader with extensive experience designing and scaling systems-level solutions for substance use disorder (SUD/OUD), workforce development, and rural population health. She brings deep
expertise in multi-state program management, evidence-based policy, and federal grant strategy that supports organizations in improving treatment access and long-term recovery outcomes.

Most recently, Lauren served as Health Program Manager at the Appalachian Regional Commission, directing the $13M INSPIRE Recovery-to-Work initiative and managing a
$60M health portfolio across 13 states. She has also held policy and research roles at the National Governors Association and The Pew Charitable Trusts, advising state leaders on behavioral health, SUD/OUD response, and community health system
redesign.


Lauren holds a MPH in Health Promotion + Public Policy from the University of Arizona.
